This logo was designed for a ceramic studio. The brief for this project was to keep it earthy and warm, but bold and modern.
I started with this sketch of an abstract ceramic vase that is commonly made in ceramic classes so I felt it would be better recognized. They also offer use of their kiln which is very large oven. The baking of the ceramics is also a big part of ceramics so I included a flame in the negative space which I then decided to use as the letter A in Mora.
We made subtle changes to the shape of the vase to fit the lettering a bit better and feel more vase shaped.
